Oh my! More running, and it looks a lot like yesterday! Yup. Yesterday’s WOD was a perfect example of an extremely functional workout. Having to run or exert yourself heavily and then picking up a heavy object repeatedly. There is an incredible amount of real world transference there, especially for those in public safety jobs or the military.
Today we are going to repeat the running patterm and then ask you to move a large load across the longest travel path you can – from a bottomed out position in the squat to being completely locked out overhead. This is incredibly taxing and is all about tranferring power from core to extremity via explosive drive and hip action. I know it’s hard and it’s just like yesterday, but remember, life has no care as to what you just did, only what you must now overcome.
